Watching Watford play Chelsea on Wednesday night, I was struck by the sheer number of foreign signings on display for the home team.
In addition to Spanish manager Quique Sánchez Flores and Italian owners Gino and Giampaolo Pozzo, Watford FC has a squad of 29 players from 22 different nationalities. Just 9.5% of playing time in a Watford kit this season has been by English players, which if kept up until the end of the season will be a Premier League record low.
Find out where in the world the Watford team are from in my interactive map below.
*Bernard Mensah has trained with the Ghana squad, but is yet to confirm his international status.
**Lloyd Dyer is eligible to play for Monserrat, however unlike his brother he has not represented this tiny island.
